well as I'm writing this entry, you would probably be celebrating the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. as i stare at this screen,you probably would be grazing at the sky exploding with fireworks.
perhaps i didn't introduce myself. hi I'm adnan,the average guy you meet every other day. the guy who will give you a smile whether you need one or not. the guy whom you can trust to get the job done and the results you wanted achieved. i guess I'm not that special,because there are people out there who are greater and better than me in every other way.
but here's the problem. I'm a dreamer. and whenever i dream i just want to stay there,because the real world cant be controlled or shut away when i open my eyelids. because you're not in it. because till now i have waited,hungered,cried,bled just to meet you.
i guess you could say that I'm insecure. maybe i am. but the fact is i really really want to be with you. really want someone to share those moments with. waiting for you to come along and give meaning to my existence. and so you have.
but i cant say a word of this to you. why? because you don't feel the same way. and i ask myself,why cant i show you my feelings? why cant i sketch it out or describe it to you,to tell you how much you mean to me? that your presence ensures my survival,and your absence causes my extinction. that the thought of you away from me just makes me want to find you. that no matter how much time we spend together,it all seems to end with your goodbye.
so as we begin a new year, i jus wanted you to know that i love you. and i hope you can wait for me to get my life in order,to pluck up the courage to confess,so we can truly begin from there. and i hope you will consider giving this average guy a little time from your life to read this post,because he would be very thankful for it

as the year comes to a close, we all have had special moments. these moments have made us remember this particular year for its uniqueness. Regardless of them being pleasant or otherwise, it is these moments that made us who we are today at the end of this year,so i think we should acknowledge them.
10 things/events/people/etc that stay in my memory for 2008(in no order whatsoever)
1. Spending the time waiting for O level results( feelings: tense,sort of excited)
2. Gettting my O Level results( feelings: disappointment, failure)
3. Joining ITE College East( feelings: resigned to fate, just trying to be positive)
4. Getting used to travelling time( feelings: damn tired!)
5. Meiyun and Ding's various chalets [feelings: very happy, enjoyed myself:)]
6. Giving up on her ( feelings: sad,but relieved,can finally be myself and live life for me)
7. Going out with my friends[feelings: fun,sometimes can get a LITTLE outta hand, but hey:)]
8. Buying my first jigsaw puzzle( feelings: very very delighted. cant wait to get another one)
9. December 2008( feelings: first time got so much to do, so much to look forward to)
10. Falling for someone new( feelings: want to take things slow this time,want to get to know her better)
Things to do for 2009( aka my New Year's Resolution)
1. try to be top in class at least for one subject
2. go fishing a couple more times,get bigger fish lol
3. try to finish writing my story
4. try to learn more about putting pictures on my blog, so ppl wont have to read so much
5. buy a few good books? depends i guess
6. learn to play drums
7. perhaps buy a new Mp3?
8. perhaps take driving theory?
9. do my maths in private O's and do well
and finally
10. work up the courage to tell her how i feel about her and do something about it

Well i jus got back from a fishing trip at Sembawang Beach with Aaron and Hadi. sigh damn tired becuz throw the line back in over and over again. in the end,managed to get 4 fishes!!! lol so happy since this is the first time managed to get decent-sized ones. i will tell all in three parts:
Part 1: The Landing
Woke up at 5am to meet under Hadi's block. seriously hate waking up so early on a non-sch day,but ah well. then met aaron there as well and took cab to Sembawang Beach(pretty nearby plus got no midnight surcharge so managed to save abt $3-4. whew!). anyway once we got there,just in time for the sunrise. the only thing that went bad was there were ppl at the place we wanted to set up at,so in the end set up nearby the area. alto not much bites till after 8am,guess the fishes were still sleeping. lol. anyway watched two kittens play ard( i mean honestly theres really nothing to do!),then set up and start throwing in our lines
Part 2: Fishing Phrase
so there was not much activity btw 6am-9:45am( actually, there WAS NO ACTION AT ALL!), so pretty bored and wasting our bait into the ocean...then hadi caught a mudskipper! Yay! first catch of the day,lol. he threw it back in, and aaron CAUGHT THE SAME ONE 45mins later! lol,greedy mudskipper!!!....then nothing much happened,till Hadi got his first fish.
Part 3: The final cast
AT ard 1:30pm,after we had a quick lunch,we got back to fishing,but no fish bit at all. then in the end we stopped after 2pm and waited for the water lvl to rise up. finally at 3,the water began to rise in. with my first cast, I PULLED IN 2 FISHES!!! haha so happy:),then fished fast to catch the tide till 4 plus,then packed up and go home
Final Score:
Adnan: 5( 4 fishes, 1 mudskipper)
Aaron:3( 1 fish, 1 mudskipper,i crab)
Hadi:3( 2 fishes,1 mudskipper)
sigh super tired now my arms are aching. ok then going to have an early night,tmr going to cherie's bday at East Coast.

well ytd i went out on an eating spree,from City Hall to Arab Street for my PM project. met qiu,andy,meng yuan,cedric,crystal and kah how at City Hall Mrt around 10am. ( in the end, kah how covered for cherie so we got 7 ppl in all).
first we went to komala vilas at Penisular Plaza. i was hoping to get them to try the briyani,but it was only breakfast meals at that time(thats right genius adnan,which restaurant serves lunch meals at 10am in the morning?!?!). anyway we tried 2 dishes there then went to Lavender to try BELGIUM CHOCOLATE FONDUE!!!
sigh..how do i explain it? for all of you out there who dont eat chocolates,you have my deepest sympathy because its heaven in every mouthful. sigh...beautiful(sob). i guess you can say that was my fav dish for the whole day:)
then we went to try some dish which is in chinese and i dont really know how to spell it out. since it has pork in it,so no bits for me. although it did look very nice and tempting.
finally we went to Arab Street to try the briyani there. however we could'nt find it!! ah well meng yuan,cedric,crystal and andy went home first whilst me qiu and kah how go to national library.
sigh been soo long since i visited it. so beautiful and quiet AND HIGH! we went to the 10th floor,when theres this outdoor place where you can stand and see the city...i was terrified. and qiu was having the time of her life. ah well. then we go explore here and there and finally i went home after that. cant wait to go again.

Well guys i just got back from a very long day at Vivocity and Dhauby Ghaut,cuz i did my Christmas shopping!!! :)
so yea today left the hse around 10:20am to meet meiyun ding and Yaode at yishun MRT. then take all the way till Vivocity. then once reach there found a Tangs Sale so bought all my presents on the spot. Lol thought that i was gonna spend the whole day choosing presents,turns out the first sale i go to,buy everything already. lol
theres this new shop from National Geographic Society. Very Very Nice!!! i tell you,its more of museum/art gallery/bookstore! im seriously very impressed by the decor and design and everything. then theres a reporter that interviewed me and meiyun. perhaps tmr our comments may appear in "Today" tmr!!!
ok ok nothing else left,gotta do present wrapping..bye bye

Well guys this is my very first post from my very brand new computer( aka wife no 4). so happy:) haha thought dad would'nt buy it but he did in the end
well thats not the only thing im happy about. i can finally eat FISH! yep thats right my ulcer on the tongue is finally going down,so shud be able to confirm my date with meiyun and the rest of them for Swensens's :) for every pregenant lady who may be reading this blog, you have my deepest appreciation for the pain you go through to give new life. i salute you.
sigh, jus hooked everything up together,now waiting for everything to download finish and work. its a Vista system,so gotta get used to using it,alto i must admit i prefer XP more,cuz easier to understand...Vista is nice i'll admit, but still takes some getting used too.
anyway maybe next week going to watch twilight with wanqi and the group. then gotta settle my PM porject go ard food sampling...which reminds me that i have'nt collected the cash from everyone yet,and i gotta call meng yuan and get him and cedric to remind everyone. then gotta call din and confirm a meeting date for the group as well..busy busy busy..
seems like this year december for the first time got alot of things to do. lol.
hmm birthday's coming up too...must get a new puzzle..or try to:)

well guys as you may/may not know, today is the day i was operated on to remove my 4 wisdom teeth at the back of my mouth. so it isnt really something to be happy about. but hey its nesscary( or so they tell me)
so i went there ard 10:30am in the morning to register. i met my doctor, a nice young guy,and my parents immediately asked if there was someone slightly older lol. but it turned out he wasnt operating on me but he was just the ward doctor.
so i was walked into the thetre at ard 11:15am, and it was pretty quick actually. one minute the doctor was asking me to breathe in some gas, then the room began to spin and i actually thought i fell down ( i didnt of course) but its like super hard to move. as she injected the stuff into my left hand, it feels like it became like rock cant move at all then the feeling spread to the rest of the body.
ok here comes the best part...
I WOKE UP WITH BLOOD ON THE SHEETS!!
cus when they woke me up,there was like a burning sensation in my mouth and i vomitted blood into a bag infront of me. i think i freaked everyone there,including my poor mom. then i was wheeled into the ward and put to sleep again for 1hr plus. woke up at 1:30pm. then the nurse explained why there was blood on the bed and sheets. apparently when they tried to wake me up,i thrashed around and pulled a tube running into my wrist to inject medicine. i was semi-awake when this happened so i dont remember what happened. alto after that they strapped me to the bed. i wonder why.
so then i left ard 2pm to head home and now im kinda ok now,occasionly got blood in the mouth but can drink soup only for now(sob). no chocolates for 3 days at least
3 DAYS!!!!
lol ok i`ll end here i guess. thanks to everyone who sent me those msg b4 i went in, and if you didnt its alright, im sure you would have:)
