Imagine, if you will...
That the Earth is but a bubble of blue and green.
That it is like a glass that which you can gaze out of.
That its surface is more polished than diamond,
That its possible to travel out of this bubble unaided.
Imagine, if you will...
That space is actually not as empty as imagined
That there is air, and the air flows like currents
Like solar wind, like rays streaking across the empty reaches of space...
That its possible to breathe without oxygen apparatus.
Imagine, if you will...
That there are giant whales, large,solemn and magnificent.
That they glide through and pass our little bubble, like cars in busy traffic
That they ate unique smaller organisms and because of this,they grew and glowed like beacons of light in the choking darkness
That when you look at them, you are silenced into awe. You know that we are not alone.
Imagine, if you will...
That sailors, with weatherbeaten faces and scars
With grim faces, and eyes showing a kind,warm soul within
That they sail through the universe, passing by our little marble
That we,ultimately, have so much to look for.
So, imagine if you will:)
