Well guys I'm finally updating my blog, as usual sorry for taking so long lol. Well im back from the ISS!!!
It was tiring tiring tiring!!! I dont think I ever spent this much outside of my house during the holidays haha. but yeah,definately worth it. Let me try to break it down day by day:
Day 1
Went to meet my new group members,becasue they re-grouped all of us. Thought it would be kinda hard to mix around but hey, they were all cool!!! So we went up to the Main Audi for the opening ceremony which had lots of GREEN laser lights and basically spotlights shining all across the hall. SUPER AWERSOME!!!
Then we had lunch, you know the usual meals inbetween and off we went to Bugis Street and Kampong Glam. To show the visitors around and stuff. Most of them were from Hong Kong and well,I thought the language would be a problem,but I didnt have to worry cuz we all tried our best to communicate using chinese,english and a mix of whatever came to mind lol:)
Then went to Vivocity(this was around evening time so very very tired already) They wanted to go Sentosa,I wanted to go home!!! So I left Vivo around 9+ pm with Din and took train home
END OF DAY 1!!!
DAY 2
Well everyone was worn out from yesterday,so today things were wayyy much slower lol. Haha even I'm getting tired typing this down. Then as usual went for the speeches(aka nap time),then went to Qian Hu Fish Farm. Pretty cool place with lots of interesting fishes. Bet my dad would like to go there sometime:)
Then came the event I was dreading most: SOCIAL NIGHT!!! OMG!!!
Me and my friends agreed that we're not dancing, oh no sir! So we found a comfortable corner and tried to relax amongst the loud crowd and music.
It was too good to be true. My other friends found me and DRAGGED ME TO GO DANCE!!!
So yeah I lasted 5mins in that choking cloud of smoke and music, then managed to escape! Went around campus after that, while everyone was dancing me and my friends go take photos! I'm camera-shy, but it sure beats dancing!
Then we finally left school around 9:15, reached home ard 11....TIRED!
DAY 3
Today was the final day. Everyone was tired,therefore everyone was late haha. I was super early. And since I didnt have a maroon t-shirt, I wore long sleeves formal shirt,and was the center of attraction:) And thats not a good thing. Let me explain why:
Some things my friends related to based on what I wore:
1. SMRT Bus Captain - Grr!!!!!!
2.Macdonald's Manager- *Faints!*
3.I forgot what else-Lol:)
Sigh. Oh well haha. Yeah it was great. Went to the airport to send our new friends home. It seems like the time we spent together just flew by and there were tears in every eye,including mine :(
To my new friends from overseas: Guys, it was nice meeting you all!!! I hope you had a great great time in Singapore and PLEASE DO COME BACK!!!
To my team mates: Guys, you are the best ever! I hope that we will remain in touch because I certainly want friends like you:)
