Well i jus got back from a fishing trip at Sembawang Beach with Aaron and Hadi. sigh damn tired becuz throw the line back in over and over again. in the end,managed to get 4 fishes!!! lol so happy since this is the first time managed to get decent-sized ones. i will tell all in three parts:
Part 1: The Landing
Woke up at 5am to meet under Hadi's block. seriously hate waking up so early on a non-sch day,but ah well. then met aaron there as well and took cab to Sembawang Beach(pretty nearby plus got no midnight surcharge so managed to save abt $3-4. whew!). anyway once we got there,just in time for the sunrise. the only thing that went bad was there were ppl at the place we wanted to set up at,so in the end set up nearby the area. alto not much bites till after 8am,guess the fishes were still sleeping. lol. anyway watched two kittens play ard( i mean honestly theres really nothing to do!),then set up and start throwing in our lines
Part 2: Fishing Phrase
so there was not much activity btw 6am-9:45am( actually, there WAS NO ACTION AT ALL!), so pretty bored and wasting our bait into the ocean...then hadi caught a mudskipper! Yay! first catch of the day,lol. he threw it back in, and aaron CAUGHT THE SAME ONE 45mins later! lol,greedy mudskipper!!!....then nothing much happened,till Hadi got his first fish.
Part 3: The final cast
AT ard 1:30pm,after we had a quick lunch,we got back to fishing,but no fish bit at all. then in the end we stopped after 2pm and waited for the water lvl to rise up. finally at 3,the water began to rise in. with my first cast, I PULLED IN 2 FISHES!!! haha so happy:),then fished fast to catch the tide till 4 plus,then packed up and go home
Final Score:
Adnan: 5( 4 fishes, 1 mudskipper)
Aaron:3( 1 fish, 1 mudskipper,i crab)
Hadi:3( 2 fishes,1 mudskipper)
sigh super tired now my arms are aching. ok then going to have an early night,tmr going to cherie's bday at East Coast.
