Well guys this is one of my fav songs and im naming this poem after it:
as the sun hides from us all,
a break of thunder streaks thru the sky
leaving us all in awe
and the birds are flying far and wide
raindrops are falling on my head
i peer from my bedroom
having no intention of going to bed
admiring the drenched full moon
as the fireflies come out glowing
and the crickets to sing
it sets me thinking
what is their true meaning?
so to the owls tonight
and to my friends sleep tight
for its time to put out those lights
