well as the title suggests today was my first time doing the high elements at my sch. abt 14 of us turned up..as usual QF lives up to its name.
the obstacle course is abt 20feet(3 floors) above the ground,so that makes you NOT want to look down, cuz that may be the last thing you might see..haha..no worries all of us made it thru in one piece
anyway....
the first part was a single steel cable bridge,with two cables by the side. being the first person by popular demand and an unfair voting system, i walked across slowly,the vibrations of the cables echoing that of my limbs and heart.
then came the scary part: the log. yep one standard size log,no ropes at the side to help,except the cable connecting you to the course. i will admit, I WAS VERY AFRAID at this point of time,seriously cuz alto you can hold on to the cable, its scary to walk across a log jus like that.(3 stories up in the air!)
but thanks to the encouragement of my friends and the teacher in charge,and divine help, i made it across
the final part was a pair of parallel lines. after the log i definately had more courage and managed to finish this in decent time. whew what an experience i would gladly repeat if possible.
after that went swimming with wan qi for abit ard 7 laps, disappointed with myself cuz totally no strength to do the laps properly...sigh...never mind must not give in...must swim more often like wat wan qi says...will do my best to keep that goal alive
finally,to end the day, i lost my MP3 player. at first, i thought wan qi , alex and meng yuan were up to their ususal mischief,but when they confirmed that they didnt have it i knew it was gone...ah well im sad honestly, but its a lesson learned the hard way.
